Light Interactive Technology (LITe)

The Light Interactive Technology (LITe) was developed in SolidWorks and is modeled after current designs found around the world. However, the Drexel Theme Park Engineering and Design Group is developing the LITe to have interactive elements. For example, the current design utilizes ultrasonic sensors within the balls that react to the users motions underneath the assembly.

Prototypes were created and tested using arduino controllers. It was determined that the assembly process was too complicated, so the project team is developing new methods of construction / fabrication.

The LITe is still being designed and will be continued in the fall.
